Three card poker is a game of poker where the players place three bets on the least advantageous hands. Ace is the lowest ranked card, with two cards to follow it. The highest ranked three cards is the best.
triCard Poker is played with a single deck of 52 cards and is the second oldest poker game. The rules of the game are relatively simple, and the odds are quite large. Three card poker is played with a round disc in the center of the table. Players place their bets on the center of the table and a five card hand is formed. The five cards can be formed using both the 2 cards at their hands and the 5 cards on the table.
The 2 card hand starts with the 2 cards at the player’s hands. The player has 3 options to choose from: first, his/her 2 cards; or third, all 3 cards currently in the center.
triCard poker is played with a set of four faced-down cards in the middle of the table. This is followed by a round of betting, starting with the player at the left of the dealer. The player can either check, fold or bet on his/her next three cards.
After the player bets, the dealer flips over the 4th face-up card and the result is the same as the previous round of betting.
Now the player has the option to either bet or call. If the player calls, the next player can either follow the previous player’s bet or bet (double the bet). If the player bets again, all new players must either follow, raise or fold.
The 5th face-up card is placed face-up and betting is again opened. This is followed by another betting round, and then the 6th face-up card and the same betting round.
Finally, the 7th face-up card is placed face-up and betting is again opened. The player can either bet or call.
There is a round of betting starting with the player at the left of the dealer. Each player must either match the bet or fold. If the player does not call the bet, all remaining players must fold.
After the final round of betting with the dealer still in control, all the players are left at the table with their 2 cards and 5 kicker. The player with the best 2 card hand wins.
